Skittles candy sales sky-rocket

Officials say Martin was holding a bag of Skittles when he was shot over a month ago. Last week, Wrigley’s, the company that makes Skittles, said that the candy’s sales have increased by 52 percent. 

The company released a statement saying, “We also respect their privacy and feel it inappropriate to get involved or comment further as we would never wish for our actions to be perceived as an attempt of commercial gain following this tragedy.”

The teen was also holding Arizona Ice Tea, and their sales have increased, also.
