Thompson new dean of pharmacy at FAMU

The pharmacy school at Florida A&M, one of the university’s flagship programs, has a new leader.
Michael Thompson, assistant dean for clinical affairs at FAMU’s College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, is the program’s new dean, FAMU Provost Larry Robinson announced today.Thompson has been on the faculty since 1981. He fills the vacancy created by former dean Henry Lewis, who left FAMU more than 18 months ago to be president of Florida Memorial University in Miami.
