Child Pornography

As technology advances so does the wondering minds of online predators. In today’s society, the internet provides ground for individuals to create, access and share child images worldwide at the click of a button.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement online pornography is most likely where children are sexually offended.

Gretl Plessinger, the Director of Communications said, “Parents need to set rules and guidelines for internet use at their homes and don’t forget things like smart phones or gaming systems that allow your children to go online or interact with other users.”

Officials suggest that the use of the computer should take place in a high-traffic part of the house like the family room or kitchen. Also monitoring the child as they surf the web by wandering in and out of the room periodically checking.
