Moves to stop texting while driving

Texting and driving may not be illegal as of now in Florida, but that doesn’t meant it will stay that way. Thirty-nine states have already banned texting for all drivers. Officials say an additional five states prohibit text messaging by novice drivers, and three states restrict it for school bus drivers. With texting while driving continuing to be an issue, there have been many campaigns – such as AT&T’s “No Text on Board” – to help stop what can be a deadly act.
