Mayor Marks challenges ethics complaints

Tallahassee Mayor John Marks is contesting alleged ethics violations. The Florida Ethics Commission voted to charge Marks with five violations. Marks voted on a grant for an Atlanta non-profit organization. However, he was a paid member of the non-profit’s board of advisers. His votes on the grant for the Alliance for Digital Equality and Honeywell are in question. The hearing continues today, Oct. 9.
