Today, Governor Rick Scott confirmed that there are four cases of fungal meningitis in Florida. They are all connected to the New England Compounding Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. A contaminated lot of an epidural steroid was sent from their location and has infected 105 people. It has already killed eight people and investigators say as many as 13,000 people may have received the shot. There have been over 17 thousand recalls on the drug in 23 different states.
